Question: Do the LDCM refillabel ink cartridges work on printers manufactured after April 2007
Answer: Yes, the LDCM refillable ink cartridges have been specially developed to work on all the pre and post April 2007 Epson™ printers with a no risk 100% money back guarantee!

Question: Do I wait till the original ink cartridges are empty before installing the LDCM refillable ink cartridges?
Answer: No! Please make sure that your printer is printing correctly by running a nozzle check first, then replace your original or compatible ink cartridges with the refillable ink cartridges, making sure they are full of ink and the air vent stopper is removed, printing should then be seamless

Question: Do the refillable ink cartridges auto-reset at 15% ink level or do they reset when taken out of the printer.
Answer: Yes & no! With most printers the cartridges auto-reset when the ink level shows 15%, with the newer models like the R285 they auto-reset when removed from the printer, I.E. when an X shows in the ink level monitor remove all the cartridges, top them up with ink and replace them into the printer (just like you would with an original Epson ink cartridge) they now show full again! Please note that the LDCM refillable ink cartridges have a none return valve, this means you can remove them from the printer without ink leaking onto your hands and clothes!

Question: Will the refillable cartridges for the R285 work in my Epson RX585-RX685 printer.
Answer: Yes but you will have to remove the cartridges when an X shows in the ink level monitor, you then refill and replace them as you would with the original Epson ink cartridges, the ink levels will then show full again.

Question: I have filled the cartridges with ink but no ink comes out of the cartridges when I try to print
Answer: Try removing the coloured stopper out of the air inlet vent so that the ink can flow freely.

Question: When I print there are large blobs of ink dripping on my page.
Answer: Its possible that the head cleaning process has been overdone causing the waste ink reservoir to overflow, the print head then runs over the waste ink causing drips onto the paper. To clean out the waste ink use a rolled piece of kitchen towel to soak up the excess ink from the waste ink reservoir. Advice: when installing the new ink cartridges let them rest in the printer for 2 hours, this will ensure the ink reservoirs will be full of ink, then carry out a head clean this should cure the problem.

Question: I installed the new refillable ink cartridges and I saw an error message saying that the new ink cartridges are not compatible with my printer.
Answer: All compatible ink cartridges cause this message to be displayed, its because Epson have developed their printers with copyright functions and this error message is to put the owner off buying cheaper compatible cartridges, if you fear that your guarantee is not safe do not use compatible ink cartridges.

Question: I installed one ink cartridge in the printer and in the ink level monitor it showed an X and my printer would not print
Answer: The LDCM refillable ink cartridges have been developed to work as a full set of cartridges, do not mix them with other compatibles or original ink cartridges, if an X still displays in the ink level monitor after you have installed the full set, remove all the cartridges switch the printer off for 2 minutes this will reset the printer, then re-install the cartridges.

Question: When I print there are lines on the paper.
Answer: Sometimes customers forget to remove the air inlet stopper, then repeatedly clean the printing head, this in turn causes the ink reservoirs to run out of ink, when they realise what has happened they remove the air inlet stopper, refill the cartridges with ink and try again! What this does is create the same problem, because only some of the ink is given time to enter the ink reservoirs, and by cleaning the head again some ink gets through mixed with air, at the same time the ink is drying in the ink nozzles and blocking the print head. The remedy is refill the cartridges and leave them to rest in the printer for 2 hours minimum, this will refill the ink reservoirs, then clean the head a couple of times this should cure the problem, if not use a printer cartridge flush or distilled water to clean the print head.

Question: An X showed in the ink level monitor for one of the cartridges, I removed the cartridge then topped it up and replaced it in to the printer, I tried to print and it then showed another cartridge with an X, this kept repeating itself each time I tried, this became very frustrating!
Answer: By only filling one cartridge it can make the rest go out of sequence, remove all the cartridges at once, top them up and replace them, they will now show full again.

Question: When I checked the ink level the refillable ink cartridges show full all the time.
Answer: This is because the printer is being switched off after use and by switching it on again the printer thinks a new set of cartridges have been installed, we advise that you leave the printer switched on standby all the time, also every time you switch the printer back on it will go through its cleaning cycle and waste around 10% - 15% of your precious ink!
