Very Important Data for the LDCM Chip Resetter
Question: Does LDCM Chip Resetter work on printer cartridges for Epson printers manufactured after April 2007.
Answer: Yes, the LDCM Chip Resetters have been specially developed to work on all the pre and post April 2007 Epson printer cartridges (in our list) with a no risk 100% money back guarantee!
As you may know inkjet cartridge manufactures of original inkjet cartridges are trying their upmost to stop us refilling their original cartridges. By resetting the IC chip on most inkjet cartridges it makes it possible to refill the cartridge very much cheaper than buying a new cartridge. With the new generation of Epson cartridges this has proved even harder to develop a counter measure to their IC chip technology.
The LDCM chip resetter can reset 7 & 9-pin cartridges, 99% of original and compatible ink cartridges can be reset, the instruction leaflet informs the user how to use the resetter, this explanation in plain English may help matters!
The new generation Epson cartridges ( D78/R265/R285 etc,) have a very sophisticated sensor system, you must reset the original Epson cartridge when the ink level is not showing empty, for example, when the level shows 30% or more ink remaining. Most compatible inkjet cartridges can be reset when the ink level shows empty!
The reason is explained here:
The D78/R265/R285 etc, ink cartridge has a built in chip, plus an ink level sensor inside the cartridge. The chip stores the data and the ink sensor detects the ink, if the cartridge is out of ink (the air will have reached the ink sensor) the printer will then indicate that the cartridge should be replaced. So in order to make the resetter work, you have to reset the cartridge when the ink level is showing 30% or more ink remaining (this avoids the air in the cartridge touching the ink sensor), when the LED on the resetter turns from red to green the chip has been reset. If the LED remains red the cartridge can't be reset, (the air has reached the ink sensor). When the cartridge has been reset and is re-installed into the printer the ink level should now show 100% remaining on your print monitor.
